Journey of the Hat

 

Hiker boxes are places for people to leave or take things they use on the AT.

I'm at the Glasgow shelter telling everyone the $80 long sleeve hoodie I found there fits me perfectly and is even nicer than the $30 hat I found in Daleville.

Babe, a fellow thru hiker says "you mean a Nike Dri-fit" and I'm thinking he's like psychic!

Turns out he found it in a hiker box at Uncle Johnnie's in Erwin, wore it for a few weeks, then put it in the Daleville box.

Now if we can just find the original owner to complete the story!
